Winter in lace and tall boots. Adding a little romance to winter outfits!
I wore this sweater as a sweater dress this weekend, but also love wearing it tucked into high-waisted jeans as well. It’s such a fun and lively piece for winter!
Hope you had a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!

Two powerhouses – ruffles and dots – in one place. A romantic take on summer dressing.
These are actually separates, which I think makes this ensemble more fun. An off-the-shoulder ruffle top coupled with a hem slit skirt. Worn as individual pieces, this top pairs beautifully with high rise jeans and this skirt works well with a bow tank top. All beautiful pairings for summer days and nights.
Light color accessories for summer – this fun 90’s style bag with lime green kitten heels. Ummm… this bag also comes in a green color. Since I wear these heels so much, I’m thinking of picking up the green bag as well now!
Hope you enjoy the outfit and happy summer! Thank you so much for reading!

Nothing is more comforting to me than a mix of military + softness. I feel strong yet delicate, powerful yet tender. It’s the best possible mix of both worlds.
I’ve had this military style coat for awhile now and love pairing it with feminine pieces. Whether it’s with a silk dress or lace top, I appreciate the touch of structure it adds to different outfits. In the wintertime, I love layering it with rich textures. Together with a velvet embellished top, flare bottoms, tights, and suede boots, this coat and belt anchors all of the textural elements by adding a tailored shape and interesting hardware to the overall look. And the best part, it keeps me cozy and warm throughout the day!
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoy the styling and winter look!Have a great weekend!

We all need a little brightness this summer. Neon – a light dash or a statement piece – adds so much cheer and light to any look.
Neon is a theme that resurfaces every year, and for the right reasons. Neon in small doses brightens neutral outfits, and in large doses becomes fun statement pieces. One of the fail-proof ways to play with intense colors is to try them with price friendly pieces first. That way, we can see if neon colors enhance our complexions and pair well with other items in our closet. A fun starting item is a petite bag. This Scoop resin chain crossbody bag comes in neon yellow, neon pink, and neon orange. Neon yellow is a great way to highlight our tan, neon pink contrasts beautifully with bronzed skin, and neon orange accentuates deep skin tones.
One of my favorite ways to wear neon accessories is to pair them with neutral pieces. This Scoop ruffle dress is simple yet darling. I really love how the sharpness of the square neckline is juxtaposed with the softness of the ruffles. And the black and white print motif creates a beautiful canvas to highlight the pops of neon.
Now, to full neon! Because neon colors are so intense, I appreciate it when it’s combined with delicate details. In this case, lace. Like a bouquet of fresh citrus, this Scoop neon lace dress captures the spirit of summer. It’s crisp, bright, and so happy! The lace adds depth and texture while complementing the electric neon color.
If you’re shy with neon, I recommend going for something small – like this resin chain bag. If you’re a neon fan, I need not say more! From inviting to uniting neon lovers, Walmart Fashion gives us range to try new colors while providing classic summer styles at great prices. Outside of neon, these lace up sandals (they come in gold and black) are such classic summer styles! There are so much more from the Scoop collection that I adore. Like this fun marigold floor-sweeping maxi dress and these chic asymmetric strappy sandals.
I hope you’re well and safe. Happy summer and thank you so much for reading. And special thanks to Walmart for partnering on this post!

The denim love continues with this classic skirt. One that is timeless, best of budget, and quintessential summer.
Continuing the theme of denim this summer, we touched on high-waisted jeans and now to denim skirts. A classic denim skirt is like a great friend. Reliable, easygoing, and no matter how long time has passed you can always pick up right where you left off. It’s one of those closet pieces that we can always count on. And moreover, it’s a great transition to fall (with an oversized sweater and boots) as well!
An easy summer outfit that can take us from office casual workdays to after work hours. I swapped out my black pumps for strappy summer sandals for an evening touch. A comfy relaxed pairing that is quintessential summer.
As you know, I love fashion. I’m very lucky to call it my job for the last 10 years. And I’m a strong believer that fashion should be available to everyone. I always get excited when I see items that are high quality at great prices. Like this denim skirt or these high-waisted jeans or these strappy summer sandals… all are versatile summer pieces that can be worn over and over again for many seasons. And the best part, they are affordable and truly best of budget. It’s one of the many things that I appreciate about Walmart Fashion. I’m always curious to see what they have next season, especially as we approach fall (my favorite fashion dressing season!).
I hope you enjoy this classic outfit and post. Thank you so much for reading and special thanks to Walmart for partnering on this post!

Winter whites! It’s like a palate cleanser for fashion. Crisp, fresh, and so chic!
I love monochromatic looks. They create such great harmonious color combinations and are very pleasing to the eye. To add depth and interest to monochromatic pairings, I love mixing strong elements of prints and textures. This outfit is a symphony of all of my favorites – faux fur, snake print, and soft knit anchored by ivory and gray colors.
Unlike leopard print, I find snake print to be a little intimidating. The rosette pattern on leo prints has a charming floral-like quality, which makes them soft, feminine, and easy to pair with most outfits. On the other hand, snakeskin patterns are quite sharp and pulsating, which makes them more intense and harder to pair with certain looks. Still, I love playing with different patterns and textures. To soften the snakeskin print, I like pairing them with neutral colors and soft fabrics (like faux fur, chunky knits, or delicate silk).
I hope you enjoy this styling and location! Central Park is beautiful this time of the year. Hope you had a great Christmas and happy holidays! Wishing you nothing but the best. The best memories, the best moments, and the best this world has to offer.

As you probably already know, I’m a huge fan of taking a clothing item and restyling it as much as possible to maximize value. The perfect example is this gold ruffle top.
I bought this ruffle blouse with me to Marrakech and wore it as a summer piece with gladiator sandals . I’m styling the same piece as a winter look with boots and a plaid blazer today. The weather has been really nice in NYC recently, so three layers (thermal + yellow ruffle blouse + wool blazer) is good enough. I really love the splashes of burgundy with gold. It’s such a warm yet striking autumn/winter color combination. And the look is not complete without a touch of holiday. Tada, a velvet braided headband!
Wishing you a great holiday full of laughter, love, and peace! Thank you so much for reading!

From NYC to LA, a little sparkle and shine this holiday season!
Some sparkle is almost mandatory for this time of the year. I love a dash of shine, but am not an over-the-top sparkle and shine type of girl. A little goes a long way, so I tend to stick with a statement piece and pair other items around it. These two outfits have subtle shine!
For my NYC outfit, the star of the show is this velvet embellished dress . It’s lush with the perfect amount of shine! And it’s easy to style with nude pumps or black booties. A close second to the star are these slouchy boots. It’s honestly one of my favorite purchases of the year. Beyond comfortable (I’ve walked hours in them!), super versatile, and so chic! Suede slouchy boots have been a runway favorite for many seasons, and these boots are right up that alley with the same shape and attitude.
For my LA outfit, a little sparkle on the bottom and loads of texture on top. This metallic skirt is so much fun. It’s sleek with an all-black outfit and also beautiful with a white turtleneck and ivory coat. And now this textured sweater! Incredibly fluffy and soft, this sweater is definitely a winter favorite! It pairs so well with a skirt for a dressy look and also with jeans for a casual weekend vibe.
I hope you enjoy the looks and happy holidays! Wishing you loads of laughter and holiday sparkle this season! As always, thank you so much for reading!
Timeless classics, both for him and us… a great leather jacket!
I know it sounds cheesy, but we love twinning! We have similar leather jackets, trench coats, and shearling jackets. For the shearling jacket, I bought the mens version and tailored it to my frame. That’s how much I loved it! We have similar taste in fashion, so we end up shopping for each other quite often and getting similar styles so we can have these fun twinning moments!
His leather jacket is by Schott NYC and it’s truly a timeless piece. The brand is over 100 years old, and in 1925, Schott NYC was the first clothier to put a zipper on a jacket. It’s also one of the first clothing brands to create a leather motorcycle jacket in 1928. Talk about classic! And this Schott NYC leather jacket is all types of fun… Epaulets with star details, front angled zip pockets, snap flap coin pocket, fully lined with thick quilted lining, and more!
My faux leather jacket is from BLANKNYC. The brand is a little over 10 years old and this particular piece is one of my favorites. I’ve had this jacket for over 3+ years now and it’s still my go-to piece. It’s tailored perfectly at the waistline and has an asymmetric drop collar that I love!
It’s so much fun learning about these brands! Nordstrom is still my first destination to learn, browse, and shop for mens pieces. I appreciate that they offer classic and contemporary brands for mens, and that they offer tailoring services in every store to make sure the pieces fit perfectly. An inch or two off the bottom and/or a tad bit shorter on the sleeves can make a huge difference on a jacket or coat!
Happy holidays everyone and I hope you enjoy this twin styling and photo story. Hope you had a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!

And we’re back in NYC! Back to reality and back to the cold!
Oh boy! Colin and I sure miss the food and weather in Morocco right now! Even though we were in Morocco in the wintertime, it felt like autumn to us. A cozy low 70° in the afternoon and low 60° at night. Now, it’s a 30° hoping for no wind. We were pretty jet lagged when we got home. Nothing kitty cuddles couldn’t cure though!
One of the best things I’ve learned living in New York and in cold places in general is that a faux fur vest or shearling vest is a great investment. It doubles up as an inside or outside layering piece, and overall creates such a chic winter look. And more importantly, it keeps you warm. Very warm.
I’ve been searching for metallic boots for a very long time and was so happy when I saw these. I’m usually not a glitter or metallic girl, but love love these textures for the holidays. They just get you in the holiday mood and spirit!
Happy holidays everyone and thank you so much for reading!
