    Pregnancy Style – Fall Fashion

Fall fashion colors and embracing the bump with super soft and comfortable knitwear.

Pregnancy style?! I had to type that a few times to let it really sink in! Dressing lately has been challenging, but I do love a fashion challenge. Even before pregnancy, I had a hard time wearing pants. If you take a look at my older posts, I don’t wear pants often. There’s really no delicate way to put this… The reason why I don’t like pants in general is that it rubs against my crotch and pelvic area. With my bladder disease, constant UTI and pelvic pain, I just don’t like anything that puts pressure there. Now with pregnancy, I really don’t like pants! Defaulting to my ultimate love – the sweater dress is my go-to for comfort. Before pregnancy and now with pregnancy.

Because I’m going to be wear a lot more sweater dresses, I’m always looking for creative ways to style it so it’s not a cut and paste situation. This cardigan sweater (worn as a sweater dress) is not only comfortable, but also so chic . I love the drop shoulder and balloon sleeves! Keeping with a fall color story, I paired it with a wrap belt and brown tall boots. These boots are really comfortable! They have a memory foam insole and are very easy to walk in (didn’t realize how important this is until now!).

What I love about this outfit is that I can wear it during pregnancy and afterwards. Ahhhhh, I’m just really enjoying these moments! As I mentioned before, I really don’t think I’ll get this opportunity again so I’m just embracing my bump as much as I can. Thank you so much for being on this journey with me!

  • Like a Painting – Summer in Bubble Hem Dress

Like a Painting – Summer in Bubble Hem Dress

Impressionist painting print and a structured bubble hem – a truly artful piece for summer.

Just like a painting come to life, I feel as though I jumped into a painting and came out the other side with the image of it on my dress. The impressionist painting print of this dress is not the only aspect that makes it special. It’s also the structured bubble hem, the puff sleeves and the cross-over neckline. All of it work together so harmoniously!

The best part about this whole look is that… every piece is on sale! The dress + blue caged pumps and super soft pouch bag are all on sale. Lately, I’m a huge fan of blue and sky blue color accessories. This color palette compliments both casual and dressy looks. It’s so versatile! • Colorful Summer Dressing

    Colorful Summer Dressing

Vibrant colors to match the summer season. A heavy dose of sunshine orange with soft rose pink.

Summer is made for statement dresses and vibrant color stories. Embracing summer to the fullest, I paired a voluminous cut-out dress with a gentler hue. From the full sleeves to the waist cutouts to the tiered skirt – this piece is just so much fun! It’s a darling dress for both day and night.

A dose of sunshine colors just in case you’re eyeing any yellow and orange dresses. A combination of short and long silhouettes in different textures and cut-out details.

I hope you enjoy this color combination and have a wonderful weekend! Thank you so much for reading!

  • A Little Paris in New York

A Little Paris in New York

Moments that feel like a little Paris in New York. Until we can travel again, these places are architecturally stunning and help to reignite the imagination.

Glimpses of Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile and hints of Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, this archway in Brooklyn is a true treasure on its own and also a place to revisit moments of travel. This location, the Grand Army Plaza, is a National Historic Landmark designed for pedestrians to enjoy breaths of serenity while in the city. Right next to the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Central Library, this park is a perfect resting place and spot to people watch.

As it gets warmer, I pulled out a sweetheart neckline dress for those in between weather moments. The sweetheart neckline, side slit and ribbed knit gives it stretch and structure while the dress itself is comfortable for those cooler early spring days and nights. If you like this neckline, you might also enjoy this sweetheart knit top and the options below.

Happy spring and hope you’re having a wonderful week so far! Thank you so much for reading!

  • Jewel of the Atlantic

    Jewel of the Atlantic

Only two hours from NY, this colourful and peaceful place is full of charm and adventures. From tasting the best fish sandwich to seeing the most turquoise blue waters… Bermuda is truly breathtaking!

I didn’t realize that paradise was less than two hours away! It takes the same amount of time getting to the airport as it is flying to Bermuda. An incredible place for a weekend trip or a week long getaway, Bermuda has something for every body. My brother and his wife came to visit us last week and we were seriously thinking about heading to Bermuda again. We just didn’t have enough time (they were here in NYC for only two days). Next time though, we’re going to pack the whole family up and head to the jewel of the Atlantic. Colin and I had such a great time there that we want to share Bermuda with everyone.

From Jobsons Cove beach to Horseshoe Bay beach to every beach hugging Bermuda, the colors are unbelievable. Pictures do not do it justice. Turquoise blue waters rolling over salmon pink sands, the vibrant hues sparkle against golden sunsets and soft winds.

A must-do in Bermuda – the Crystal Caves! One of the largest caves in the island, Crystal Caves is an underground natural wonder that illuminates flashes of greens and blues. Dark, damp, and mysterious, the entrance to the caves is steep and deep. Once inside, lights turn on illuminating the incredible structures and formations.

In addition to the caves, the town of St. George’s has an old world charm to it, the best fish sandwich is in Bermuda (we tried Art Mel’s and it’s sooo good!), and one of the best views of Bermuda is at Gibbs Hill Lighthouse.

I hope you enjoy this photo journal and thank you so much for reading!

The other clothing items are true classics – A sleek square neck dress perfect for day or night, classic Levi’s straight leg jeans and a super flattering crossover swimsuit. • Casual Tulle, Perfect for Daytime

    Casual Tulle, Perfect for Daytime

Tulle! I always have a soft spot for tulle. Beautiful for nighttime and dressy occasions, it’s also so pretty for daytime. Charming and whimsical, it’s an instant mood enhancer!

Tulle is usually in a skirt or dress form, and not so much in casual form. That’s why I immediately fell in love with this piece when I saw it. This tulle t-shirt is so much fun! A simple tee elevated with a layer of tulle. I love that you can wear it with jeans and flats, with shorts and kitten heels, with a flowy skirt and statement pumps, so much more. It makes dressing so much fun!

Hope you’re having a great week so far and thank you so much for reading!

Sweet & Sharp, Two Outfits for Spring

Dash of sweetness, pinch of edginess – two outfits today, perfect for spring and almost spring weather.

The vibrant red color, the mini buttons, the dramatic sleeves, this top embodies the spirit of spring! I love that you can wear the sleeves on or off shoulder. I wanted to create a full color story, so I paired with top with red accessories. An almost all red look for spring!

  • A Dress That Gets You Excited for Spring

A Dress That Gets You Excited for Spring

Spring is so close, we can almost feel it! A little taste of spring with ruffles and a fun nail art design.

The romance of spring captured in a dress. From the sweetheart neckline to puffed sleeves to the pocket details, this dress is so sweet and flirty! I love that you can wear the sleeves on and off-the-shoulders. It’s perfect for day dates, date nights, brunch, and every moment in between.

I’m not a huge nail art girl, but when I see a design I love, I love. And I love this particular design. It’s a modern twist on french nails with the tips wider, color deeper, and elevated with a thin black line. It’s such a neutral design that works with virtually every outfit!

Hope you’re having a great week and thank you so much for reading!
