  • The Handsome – Korea’s No.1 Fashion Destination

    The Handsome – Korea’s No.1 Fashion Destination

Today’s post is one that I’m super excited about! I love being introduced to new brands and love it even more when it comes from another perspective from the other side of the world.

Enters The Handsome. Korea’s No. 1 fashion destination, The Handsome carries 40 brands with most being elite Korean brands (SYSTEM, SJSJ, TIME, MINE just to name a few) and a curated selection of international brands (like Lanvin, Bally, and Rochas). Just like the name, The Handsome captures a sense of sharp masculine shapes mixed with distinctive feminine designs. And more importantly, all of the pieces are rooted in timeless styles and are fashion forward yet super wearable.

Today, we’re going to focus on SYSTEM, a luxury brand that understands and appreciates layering (which is perfect for fall and winter!). First up is this houndstooth coat. Long, super warm, and great attention to details, this coat is made for chic cold weather wear. I really love the pin tucked front panels. It elevates it from a standard houndstooth coat to a thoughtful tailored outerwear piece.

Adding a feminine touch to the menswear feel of the coat, I layered a buttoned turtleneck and flare dress under it. In addition to pairing well with dresses, it also works over a suit for the office and great with jeans and a sweater for the weekends.

If a bomber jacket and a wool coat had a baby, it would be this layered boucle coat. It’s so unique! A mix of super warmth and fun details, this coat can be dressed up or down. Dressing up by combining it with a lace skirt and boots or down with a comfy hoodie and sneakers. After snapping these photos, I went straight to work in this outfit and got so many complements on this look!

Both The Handsome and SYSTEM makes winter dressing so much fun. Elevated classics to chic edgy designs, I especially love their outerwear pieces! And now the best part –I hope you enjoy these two looks and thank you so much for reading!

  • Return of the Statement Blazer

    Return of the Statement Blazer

My love for blazers is never-ending. I wear them with shorts, belted as dresses, layered underneath coats, and so much more. They make me feel alive, strong, and confident.

Blazers – in all shapes, prints, and colors – are great investments because they’re truly transeasonal. They serve as great layering pieces in the winter and spring under coats and trenches. On cooler summer nights and onto autumn, they’re the perfect statement piece. And nowadays with Zoom meetings, they’re the ultimate professional piece on top with pajama shorts!

From sophisticated plaid to classic white to sleek pink, these are some of my favorite cuts and style. Some have strong shapes (like this H&M checked beige blazer) that work so well for that boy-meets-girl look, while others are sleek (like this L’AGENCE cutaway blazer) with a natural contour shape for that soft feminine touch.

Happy Friday everyone and thank you so much for reading! Have a great weekend and talk to you soon!

  • Fresh Mint – What to Wear with Mint

Fresh Mint – What to Wear with Mint

Freshness captured in an outfit! Fresh mint from bag to coat, I love this color story! It’s so chic, incredibly uplifting, and a great color to add to any wardrobe.

Oh my mint! Piggybacking from soft shades like rose colors in the last blog post, mint is an equally soft yet striking color. Mint tones come with a quiet sense of confidence and sophistication. It’s a color that whispers and not screams, works well at the office and also on the weekends, and is one that you can turn to in need of a mood lifter.

Another color edit for your shopping and viewing pleasure. If you’re looking at this page from your laptop/computer, I love the color story of this carousel! It’s so pretty with all of the shades of mint! This blue-green tone mix is a delightful color to combat the winter blues. The coats are impactful, the dresses are delicate , and the accessories are so much fun.

Happy November and thank you so much for reading!

  • Fantastic Colors – Fall Fashion with Reds and Pinks

Fantastic Colors – Fall Fashion with Reds and Pinks

Fall in full swing! Literally and fashionably =) As the weather drops this lace dress dances, swinging back and forth in full color and joy.

The colors of autumn! Gold leaves from sky to floor, it’s a sight of awe and wonder. One of the many reasons I love New York City. The perfect complement to this gold dreamland is pairing it with reds and pinks. This is my favorite time to play with colors, to mix and match tones, and to pair different textures.

This color story covers autumn, winter, and spring, and this maxi length is perfect for cold weather months (add tights and a faux fur or wool scarf for more warmth on super cold days). Wherever you are though, if you enjoy this color theme I hope you’ll like the curated edit below.

Have a great weekend everyone! Thank you for being here, and as always, thank you for your love and support!

I’m so lucky to have incredibly talented friends. This velvet cape is one of my favorite pieces. Not only because it’s so chic and luxe, it’s also designed by my dear friend, Vivian Chan. • Holiday Ready – Holiday Dressing Guide Under

Holiday Ready – Holiday Dressing Guide Under $60

Are you ready?! It’s officially holiday season! Deep into November, two weeks before the holidays, and with December around the corner… it’s holiday dressing time.

With the most festive time of the year knocking at our door, I think the best way to kick off this season is with rich textures. And when I say textures, I mean beautiful velvet, metallic, and sequin. Pieces that are for the now, and also can be restyled for special occasions later on. And more importantly, pieces that won’t break the bank.

Velvet is truly a classic item. While velvet coats can look a little heavy, velvet blazers are great for fall and winter. They complement high shine textures and are so chic when layered with dense finishes like wool coats. This velvet blazer has a slight vintage touch with the matte shawl collar and tailored frame. It pairs well with a timeless white button-up blouse, or for the holidays, with a metallic bodysuit .

Just like the fall collection , this Scoop holiday collection is full of buildable pieces. From bold prints to sequins to metallics… this collection is mixable, matchable and oh-so-affordable, starting at $25.

I hope you enjoy the holiday styling and shopping guide. As always, thank you so much for reading!

  • The Power Suit, a Must-Have in Your Wardrobe

The Power Suit, a Must-Have in Your Wardrobe

Always a favorite, the power suit! Time and time again, it proves to be a mood enhancer, confident booster, and strength provider.

I’m always on the lookout for a great suit. Whether it’s velvet, classic black, or plaid… if it fits well, I’m in love! This check suit is perfect. The blazer has a tailored boyfriend fit and the pants are cropped and slim. It feels great and I feel like I can conquer the world while wearing it!

In my humble opinion, the power suit is a wardrobe must-have! Mainly, because it’s so versatile. Worn together, it’s great for the office and meetings. Worn apart, they’re great as separates. For casual days, this check blazer works so well with blue jeans, a pocket tee, and white sneakers. For a sleek and polish look, pair the check pants with a black turtleneck and suede pumps. So many great combinations from one suit!

I hope you enjoy this power suit as much as I do! I can’t wait to share more =) As always, thank you so much for reading!

  • Color Story – Fall Outfits in Pink and Green

Color Story – Fall Outfits in Pink and Green

What a strange, but in my humble opinion, interesting color combo. Pink with green. A slight deviation from holiday colors with the traditional red and green, pink with green softens this color mix and gives it a more romantic touch.

I love rich emerald colors and equally adore soft pink hues. Together, this color combo is powerful yet gentle. Pulling out my favorite velvet suit and pairing it with a long length coat, I went to my meetings feeling strong and confident. Continuing this color combo, I can’t wait to pair these pants with oversized pink cable sweaters and green or pink pumps for work/Artemis shop looks!

If you are obsessed with pink for fall as much as I am, below will be a feast for the eyes! From pink coats to rose colored accessories, these are my favorite pink pieces that are easy to add and will complement your current wardrobe. Pinks work great with all-black outfits because it softens the look, and they’re also fantastic with reds, purples, ivory shades, and so much more.

I hope you enjoy this styling and the pink edit! Thank you so much for reading and have a great weekend ahead!
